Eatin’ Up This Work

I’ve started to fall into the rhythm of work now. I have things to do and if I ever don’t I can just turn to someone and ask what they’re working on and usually they’re happy to let me help. It looks as if I’ll have accumulated much more work by the end of this internship than I realized at first. This is great for experience.

I hope to continue doing this work and even in these last two weeks at Tobias to try and take up new challenges that will allow me to stretch myself to different types of work. Working here is kind of like eating tapas. There are a lot of different things to choose from, it’s all shared by everyone, and you’ll definitely have had your fill by the end.

It’s strange to think that it will end soon. I don’t know that I’ll be ready to return back to life at home. I do miss home, but it will almost require me to completely readjust again right after I’ve finally become accustomed to life here. I’m very excited to see what opportunities I might be able to find job-wise for this school year (fingers crossed that I will find something). One of the things on my to-do list is to sift back through my emails from PW faculty and students relating to job opportunities. I’m not picky, but it would be nice to find something that is paid.
