Walking to Work

I walked to work today since I still had no Oyster card. It took about an hour, but it allowed me to see some of the sight I’ve been missing when traveling underground in the tube. I took my breakfast with me, porridge in hand and banana in pocket.

I’m enjoying the stresses of work. They’re giving us a lot of projects to do which good because at least there’s no shortage of work. It feels good to be productive.

Our co-worker Woody showed us where the Whitecross market was today during lunch. It’s a street full of tents and food stands. There are so many different options with food from all different countries. We all got our food and ate it while sitting and talking in a park.

At the end of the work day Erin and Sarah headed for the tube and I set off on my walk again. I considered renting a bike for two pounds but considering the way people drive here, you know on the other side of the road, I thought I would be safer walking.

The good news though is that my Oyster card number was discovered and I am getting it replaced tomorrow.
